Dear Parents, Students, and Visitors, Welcome to the Alsalam Academic Language School. As we embark into a new journey of growth and learning, we are more than certain that with the help of our community and your continuous support, we will be able to take our school to the next level. At our end, we shall continue working with you for the best interests of our beloved students and our community at large. As we are starting a new phase of our long journey towards knowledge and prosperity, we wish to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continuous help and support. We wish also to thank our committed and dedicated staff, parent-teacher association, and volunteers for their tireless efforts and ongoing dedication to the betterment of our school. Our staff and administration are committed to helping each and every student work to their full potential. Our school strives in placing a high emphasis on balanced literacy, numeracy, inquiry-based learning, and outdoor education. As well as attending to the needs of students who are experiencing difficulties in certain subject areas, and for students who are achieving above grade levels. The school is committed to helping students become responsible for their own actions. Our code of conduct is meant to help them reflect upon their own actions and draw conclusions and lessons for the future. A variety of progressive discipline strategies are in place and will be applicable as required. Nothing can be more effective in motivating the students and sustaining success in the school than celebrating the students’ accomplishments. Celebrating success in the school system regularly breeds more success. It invites every student, teacher, and parent to join the team to celebrate improvements in academics, character, and leadership. As the Alsalam Academic Language School principal, I am more than willing to do all it takes to make our school an outstanding institution, where our students are nurtured through mind, body, and soul. Alsalam Academic Language School

The school was established on the belief that; we all hold a responsibility towards our children as they are the future. The vision behind Alsalam Academic Language Saturday school is to facilitate our young generation to be good people/Human beings and good Canadian citizens in all aspects of life. The key highlights of our School include: * Our curriculum is developed in Canada, already adopted by well-known schools. * Our teacher Dr. Ali Almusawi has PhD from Europe. * Each student will have his/her own book with exercises to take home with CD. * Personalized instruction for each student, we have a team of employees and volunteers to support our vision. * Students are grouped according to their age and Arabic language proficiency. * Students will learn respect for all cultures and backgrounds and how to practice morality while living in a multicultural environment and be a good citizen of the country. * We value a positive learning environment to encourage youth towards learning. At the Alsalam Academic Language School, we believe in giving our students a voice and instilling in them a passion to be involved with their school community. It is evident that students are at the forefront of understanding the needs of making their school into an environment that promotes a safe and healthy learning environment. Alsalam Academic Language School

Alsalam Academic Language School was founded in 2005 as a Sutarday School & full-time private school serving the community in the GTA and beyond. Since its inception, AALS has consistently grown year after year and has gained a reputation of becoming a leading and moral educational institute which aims to instill an Islamic morale and a genuine desire of learning in each of its students.
Alsalam Academic Language School provides a learning environment with a commitment of using modern day teaching pedagogy to cultivate an advanced and comprehensive academic program. We are a G1 to G5 school with a wide array of resources designed to foster student achievement that will prepare our pupils to pursue higher education and be competitive in their careers. It is our aim to empower our students by cultivating their interests and honing their academic skills as strong Canadian citizens in Canada.

TEAM

The Board of Directors is the main governing body of the Alsalam Academic Language School. They are with the school administration and they establish strategic direction, financial resources, review policies, and respond to community needs.
